| The 390th Bomb Group A group veterans of the 390t Bomb Group and their wives visited Holland in May 2000. They took part in the Manna Commemorations at Airfield Valkenburg. Apart from that they had their own program to see a bit of Holland. I travelled with them on two occasions. |

| At Hoorn we visited a private museum about the second world war. This museum has much information and artifacts concerning the airwar during the war in this region. | Near the center of the city there is a small monument that was erected for the crews of two B-17's of the 30th BG that collided near the town. |

| The whole group of 390th veterans and spouces has gathered in front of the museum. | Across the street from the museum stands a monument constructed of the propellor of a B17. This B17 crashed in the field behind the museum. |
